Police arrested an auto theft suspect yesterday who had been shot by an officer as he tried to evade capture in Pearl City last week.
Thomas Wesley Greene, 18, of a Hamau Street address in Waipahu was shot in the stomach by a police officer on Oct. 13 after he allegedly rammed into at least three vehicles and injured three police officers who had surrounded the 1994 Honda Civic Coupe he was driving.
Greene was treated at the Queen's Medical Center and released yesterday. Police previously charged the passenger in the car with Greene that day, Randy Garcia, 24, with possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree promotion of dangerous drugs.
Garcia is Greene's half brother.
Greene faces multiple charges including seven counts of first-degree attempted murder, first-degree criminal property damage, auto theft, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license
